Kurt uploaded another awesome piece of song today and for the first time, is not Sam Tsui singing but Kurt Schneider himself! And there was I wondering why all Kurt does is to just play the musical instruments all the time and not sing. There's also another guy too, harmonizing to Kurt and playing the drum in the video. He's called Jack Bruene.
Anyway, here's the video and lyrics:-
Lyrics:
And I'd give up forever to touch you
Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now
And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
Cause sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight
And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything seems like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know your alive
And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now
And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
Cause sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight
And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything seems like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know your alive
And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
*****
The song is shorter than the original song by Goo Goo Dolls, but it's still quite nice because of how Kurt and Jake gives it a more acoustic type of feeling. I must say though that this song is quite different from the other songs that Kurt produces with less emphasize on the singing but rather on the music itself.
If you've noticed, Kurt did not experience with different pitches and stuff like how Sam Tsui normally does, but I guess that this is just his style. The song is still nice and the lyrics are sweet, it's just a shame that there's no one for me to sing the song to.
On the other hand, where's Sam Tsui?
