It's been a while since i randomly ranted

Have you ever felt that you had so much things that you wanna tell and share with the world but you have no idea where to start or how to put it into words? I do. All the time. Which is why i started this blog in the first place. I had always had this wild hope inside me that one day, people will be so amazed that i have these thoughts in my head that they will be flocking to my blog and perhaps i will be given the title as the most influential blogger of the century.

Wild hope, indeed because statistically speaking, there's just too many bloggers like me who wants to change the world from the comfort of a keyboard and just too little readers to give a damn about what you write in your blog. Like the economic saying that goes, when there's too much supply and very little demand, well, you don't get far. Which is why after bloggers like Cheesie, Xiaxue and Kenny Sia, you don't get to see any overly famous bloggers anymore. Of course there are a few new ones here and there, but not as much that could reach their level of fame as far as i can see.

True, so true indeed.

Why am i writing this again?

I dunno. Maybe it's my need for cognition kicking up again. Or maybe it's the fever that is frying up my brain. Or that i have nothing to write 2 am in the morning. But i must admit that i'm still holding this wild hope in my heart. That maybe one day, out of a sudden, my blog will actually will become famous overnight and i'll be the next celebrity blogger that is known around the world. Magazine covers, TV interviews, stuff like that.

That hope is not burning as brightly anymore now, sadly. Because the more i hang out at the internet, the more i realize that there's another 10 million people thinking the same thing as me. And to really get famous in this world you're living in, you must be exceptional. A one in a million, as they say.

Because being normal won't get you anywhere. Our society does not like that. Normal is just another word for boring. You have to have a great sense of humour for example, coupled with a superb command of language to make it big in the world of blogging. Not to mention having an extra knowledge of stuff that normal people would not know about. Then you can be famous.

Which is why i gave up halfway. Because trying to keep up with 10 million people who are trying to reach the same goal as you is sometimes just too tiring and virtually impossible. What's the point anyway? If everyone is famous, then the word famous will lose it's meaning in the end.

So instead of hoping wildly for a chance of stardom, i think i'll just be content with what i have now. A few loyal friends who constantly drops by and gives supportive comments whenever i post is more than what i could ask for. And besides, i can always be handsome without being famous.

Yeah and i know, i should really get some sleep.
